Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• At least 1 year as courier/driver; direct customer interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfers deceased using company vehicles per local/state laws and company policies.
• Follows chain-of-custody, paperwork, and deceased identification.
• Cooperates with first responders, Coroner, hospital staff or Senior Living facility.
• Interacts with families during home transfers with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Follows procedures for transferring soiled garments and materials.
• Enters transfer information into proprietary software per procedures.
• Transports urns to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assists moving urns.
• Maintains and cleans vehicles; fuels as required.
• Follows safety guidelines and expenditure processes.
• Keeps transfer supplies in vehicles and identifes issues to management.
