Service Corporation International is seeking a Transfer Specialist in Bakersfield, CA. You will safely drive company vehicles to perform first-call transfers of the deceased, interact with families, and ensure all procedures comply with laws and company policies.

Responsibilities include entering transfer data in a proprietary system, assisting with moving caskets, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Availability for weekend and on-call scheduling is required, with physical exertion and lifting

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Able to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
• Demonstrates professional appearance and communication with families.

Responsibilities

• Escort deceased and perform transfers in compliance with laws and policies.
• Enter event information into proprietary software.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of vehicles; assist with moving caskets as required.
