Job summary

Sci Corp is seeking a Transfer Specialist to perform the care, removal, and transport of deceased, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. The role requires professional appearance, driving company vehicles, and coordinating with families and responders.

Responsibilities include first call transfers, entering details into proprietary software, vehicle maintenance, and supporting transport operations; weekend and night shifts may be required, with lifting and travel across locations

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
At least 1 year of courier/driver experience with direct customer interaction preferred.
Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 200 pounds.

Responsibilities

Safely drives company vehicles for first call transfers and follows chain-of-custody procedures.
Interact courteously with families during home transfers with sensitivity.
Enter transfer information into proprietary software per procedures.
Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes.
Maintain and clean vehicles; fuel as needed; follow safety guidelines.
