The position also involves vehicle maintenance tasks, documentation in proprietary software, and coordination with hospitals, coroners, and care facilities. Weekend and night availability is required, with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license with clean record.
• At least 1 year driving or courier experience with direct customer interaction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company-owned vehicles for first-call transfers.
• Follows chain-of-custody, paperwork, and deceased identification procedures.
• Cooperates with first responders, hospitals, and facilities.
• Interact kindly with bereaved families during home transfers.
• Transfers soiled materials following company procedures; leaves a respectful impression.
• Enter event information into proprietary software.
• Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assist with moving.
