Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current state license with clean driving record required.
• At least 1 year experience as courier/driver with direct customer interaction preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company vehicles for first-call transfers and adheres to laws and company policies.
• Interacts professionally with bereaved families during home transfers and maintains sensitivity.
• Enters deceased event information into proprietary software as required.
• Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assists with moving them.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and fuels vehicles as needed; follows safety procedures.
