Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a Transfer Specialist to handle care, removal, and transport of deceased individuals. You will collaborate with team members, comply with laws, and maintain professional appearance when meeting families.

Responsibilities include first-call transfers, entering event data into our software, assisting with moving caskets, and keeping vehicles clean and ready. Weekend/nights on-call may be required; a high school diploma and valid driver's license are

Qualifications

Ability to work schedule including weekends and nights
On-call weekends, nights and holidays rotation
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally; push/pull up to 200 pounds

Responsibilities

Safely drives company owned vehicles to perform transfers in compliance with laws and policies
Transports caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes; assists with moving caskets
Enters deceased event information into proprietary software
Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs basic maintenance tasks
Interacts with bereaved families in a warm, professional manner
