Job summary

Little Learners For Tomorrow LLC in Rhode Island is seeking a compassionate Toddler Teacher to provide high-quality care and education for toddlers in our center. You will create a nurturing, safe environment and plan age-appropriate activities.

You will communicate with families about development and progress, and work with other teachers to ensure continuity of care. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a National BCI and CANTS.
• Must have GED, High School Diploma, or College degree.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities for toddlers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, sit on floor, run, and other activities.
• Ability to complete 24 hours a year of training.
• Ability to attend staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for toddlers, including emotional and physical support and personal hygiene care.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Communicate with parents about child development and progress, including regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Follow policies and procedures related to toddler care and education, including safety protocols and maintaining records.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education.
• Other duties as assigned.
