Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios to practical situations.
• Ability to solve problems and handle concrete variables with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo ID.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts in an informative manner.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility as directed.
• Observe and report signs of pressure areas or skin breakdowns.
• Follow policies for blood/body fluid exposure and safety practices.
