Job summary
Buckeye Hospice Care LLC in Dayton, OH is seeking a compassionate STNA to provide direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision in the Montgomery County area. Qualifications
- STNA certification required.
- 1 year hospice preferred.
- Driver's license required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed.
- Serve meals and assist with feeding patients as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Observe and report any changes in patients' condition to the nursing staff.
