Job summary

Horizon Home Health Care seeks compassionate Home Health Aides to provide in-home care across Montgomery County, Ohio and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily living, safe transfers, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship within personalized care plans.

Requirements: Ohio STNA or CNA license (CNAs under two years old), one year of verifiable caregiving under RN, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, excellent communication. First aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ohio STNA or CNA license (CNAs under 2 years old)
• One year of verifiable caregiving under RN
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• First aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Support safe transfers, ambulation and mobility
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry as needed
• Monitor and report changes to supervising nurse/c care team
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
