Job summary

The Pavilion at Edgefield in Canton, OH is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide direct resident care under licensed staff. You will assist with daily living activities, support safety and comfort, and help improve residents’ quality of life.

Key duties include assisting with meals, lifting and moving residents, documenting intake and weight, and following care plans. Qualifications: active CNA in good standing, high school diploma or equivalent, and current CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nursing staff and other staff as needed.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services, including setup, serving, and documenting intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake and weight changes.
• Tracks resident skin condition and reports issues to nurse.
• Supports toileting program activities as directed by nursing staff.
• Completes flow sheets and communicates changes to supervisor.
• Notifies nurse/supervisor of factors affecting performance or resident condition.
