Job summary

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking a Spiritual Care Coordinator/Chaplain to provide compassionate spiritual support to patients and families. You will collaborate with the care team to honor beliefs, develop and supervise spiritual care plans, and help create meaningful experiences at a difficult time.

The role emphasizes empathy, ethical care, and respectful communication. Education in counseling/theology and at least 2 years in healthcare or hospice are preferred; reliable transport is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related field; one unit of clinical pastoral education preferred
• 2+ years of experience in health care or hospice; experience in family counseling regarding loss, grief, death and dying
• Reliable transportation; ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs effectively
