Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language disorders in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will develop personalized treatment plans and monitor progress, with access to advanced therapy technology and a collaborative team.

The role requires current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or to obtain within 30 days). A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with relevant field experience.

• Current licensure required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech therapy plans for patients.
• Identify issues and modify therapy approaches as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and outcomes.
• Celebrate patient victories and celebrate progress along the way.
