Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a supportive inpatient setting. You will develop and administer individualized therapy plans, monitor progress, and adjust treatment as necessary to maximize communication outcomes.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care with ongoing documentation, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering compassionate care across our nationwide rehabilitation network.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• CCC Certification (ASHA) required.
• State licensure or eligible licensure in the state.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to therapy.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
