Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to help patients overcome speech and language challenges in our inpatient rehabilitation setting near Milton, IL. You will evaluate, design, and administer personalized treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize recovery.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required or expected.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
