Job summary

Millennium Health in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Full-Time Male Specimen Collector to collect urine and oral fluid samples, ensure accurate labeling, and maintain strict chain-of-custody protocols.

The role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional longer days. You will coordinate with clinics and the lab, handle documentation, and support billing and inventory needs while upholding HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in the medical field supporting patients.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HiTrust, confidentiality and compliance policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid samples.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory.
• Record patient information, physician order details, and lab data.
• Resolve specimen-related billing or patient information issues.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens.
• Driving between facilities may be required.
