Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full-Time Female Specimen Collector in Lincoln, NE. Responsibilities include collecting urine/oral specimens, processing shipments, and acting as liaison between clinics and the lab, while maintaining patient data accuracy and privacy.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical support, strong customer service, and reliable transportation. A high school diploma is required, with HIPAA/compliance awareness and ability to use

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collector experience or 1+ year in medical field supporting patients
• 2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience
• Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• HIPAA/HiTrust, confidentiality and compliance policies must be followed
• Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are maintained
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Physical abilities: sitting 60%, walking 20%, standing 20%, lifting up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory
• Record patient information, physician orders, and pertinent lab data
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information
• Order and maintain collection supplies onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens
• Driving to multiple facilities may be required
