Job summary

Branch ISD is seeking a dependable and compassionate Special Education Van Driver to safely transport students to and from school and other designated locations. The ideal candidate will be patient, responsible, safety-minded, and comfortable working with students who may have a variety of educational and support needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan driver's license preferred; chauffeur endorsement preferred
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred
• School vehicle operation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate school van safely on designated routes and schedules.
• Assist students as needed during transport.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly vehicle at all times.
• Communicate transportation needs with school staff and families.
