Job summary

Branch ISD seeks a dependable Special Education Van Driver to transport students safely to and from school and designated locations. The role requires patience, reliability, and a safety-minded approach, with strong communication with staff and families.

The ideal candidate should hold a High School diploma or GED, a valid Michigan driver's license (chauffeur endorsement preferred), and First Aid/CPR certification. Experience with school vehicles is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Michigan driver's license; chauffeur endorsement preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• School vehicle operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school van and follow routes and schedules.
• Assist students as needed and maintain a safe, orderly vehicle.
• Communicate with school staff and families regarding transportation needs.
• Demonstrate commitment to student safety, confidentiality, reliability, and positive relationships.
