Coosa Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Glencoe, Alabama is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team. The role focuses on comprehensive evaluations, evidence-based treatment plans, and dysphagia management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA CCC certification in Alabama is preferred/required.
• 2+ years of experience in skilled nursing or similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care.
