Job summary

VitalCaring Group in Enid, OK is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide compassionate, patient-centered therapy and health education. You will deliver high-quality services aligned with our values of trustworthiness, capability, and dedication.

You will conduct evaluations, develop and implement care plans, apply therapeutic techniques, and educate patients and families. Documentation is handled in the EMR, with collaboration across the care team.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in SLP.
• Licensed as an SLP by the state or meeting state requirements if not licensed.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assess home environments to identify speech/language needs.
• Develop and implement plans of care to address functional speech defects.
• Administer specialized therapeutic techniques and recommend communication aids as needed.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on treatment regimes and collaborate with other healthcare personnel.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and participate in discharge planning using the EMR system.
• Attend in-services, case conferences, and meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practices.
• May supervise home health aides related to the therapy plan of care.
