Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, UT is seeking a part-time Shuttle Driver to provide safe transportation for our clients. The role involves operating multi-passenger vans on scheduled routes, assisting clients with boarding and alighting, including those using walkers or wheelchairs, and performing pre-trip inspections.

Schedule is Wednesday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, two years driving experience, and a valid license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Two years of driving experience, preferably operating multi-passenger vehicles or delivery vans.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with clients and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate agency multi-passenger vans along scheduled and customized routes.
• Transport clients in various weather and road conditions.
• Assist clients with boarding and exiting vehicles, including those using walkers or wheelchairs.
• Operate wheelchair lifts for clients who are non-ambulatory.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all passengers.
• Maintain passenger schedules, transportation logs, and related records.
• Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance needs or incidents.
• Participate in required training and assist with training new drivers when needed.
