Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Shelburne, VT is seeking a compassionate Van Driver to support our community residents. This part-time role (20-25 hours/week) involves safe transportation to medical appointments, outings, and shopping, while also serving as an Activity Assistant during excursions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Interest in elderly care and servicing their needs.
• Demonstrated activities/recreational experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles in safe, working order per warranty/maintenance plan.
• Act as an Activity Assistant during excursions; supervise group and stay with the group.
• Transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and shopping.
• Monitor resident activity and alert staff when assistance is necessary.
