Job summary

Independence Village of Waterford is seeking a Shuttle Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for our senior residents. You will help residents on/off bus, maintain logs, and keep the bus clean.

We require a chauffeur's license, clean driving record, 3 years shuttle driving experience, and the ability to lift 25 pounds; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving a shuttle, bus, or similar vehicle.
• Chauffeur's License; must have a clean driving record.
• Compassionate care for seniors and ability to help residents.
• Able to maintain a bus schedule and be familiar with the local area.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents getting on and off the bus using safe methods (lift, ambulation or transfer).
• Complete bus trip logs; manage routes safely and efficiently.
• Maintain interior and exterior bus cleanliness.
• Fill out daily inspection log at trip start and submit when done.
• Maintain a positive attitude to support team performance.
