Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and pass urine drug screen on hire and routinely.
• Criminal background check and health screening including TB test required.
• Eighteen (18) years old or older.
• Experience operating large vehicles/buses and knowledge of local area.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.
• Able to work all shifts to ensure staffing coverage.
• Demonstrates integrity and commitment to Fields Senior Living.
• Experience working with seniors, including dementia/Alzheimer’s care.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and safe transportation for residents to and from various locations.
• Complete bus safety checks daily and document any concerns; keep emergency kit stocked.
• Ensure cell phone is charged and Bluetooth is enabled in the vehicle.
• Maintain an accurate log of safety documentation and checks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth, compassion, and respect.
• Maintain interior and exterior vehicle cleanliness.
• Inform the executive director in writing of any mechanical problems.
• Coordinate with Life Enrichment Director about outing success.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
