Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Van Driver to transport community residents and support activities requiring van transportation. The role involves planning and coordinating trips while ensuring safety and comfort for residents.

The driver will maintain vehicles, assist during excursions, and accompany residents to appointments, outings, and shopping. Excellent communication and a valid license with a clean record are required.

Qualifications

• Education – High School diploma or equivalent certificate preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in serving the elderly.
• Recreational/activities experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains vehicles in safe, working order according to plan and warranties.
• Acts as an Activity Assistant during excursions; stays with the group.
• Transports residents to medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips.
• Monitors resident activity and alerts staff to ensure safety.
