Job summary

Tooele County is seeking a dedicated meal delivery driver to serve homebound older adults within a defined Utah area. You will pick up daily route sheets, ensure meals are safely stored, and deliver hot trays and cold bags to clients, with brief check-ins on their condition.

Responsibilities include temperature checks, returning leftovers, completing required paperwork, and performing pre/post-vehicle safety checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year of general responsibility work experience.
• Must have a valid Utah Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and a desire to help homebound older adults.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hot meals to homebound older adults within the designated geographic area.
• Check the temperature of meals and ensure they are secure for delivery.
• Deliver meal trays and cold bags to each client on the route and briefly check on their condition.
• Return leftovers and temperature-checked meals to the Tooele Senior Center and complete required paperwork.
• Conduct vehicle safety checks before and after delivery.
• Perform other related duties as required.
