Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents to activities and outings. You will assist passengers, secure wheelchairs, and maintain vehicles while communicating with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, and a willingness to comply with safety regulations. Prior customer service in a senior living setting is preferred, with opportunities for advancement available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in customer service, preferably with seniors.
• Must follow safety precautions and regulations.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs to restraining devices during trips.
• Operate radio/cell phone/pager to communicate with base or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license renewal processes.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.
