Job summary

Arvum Senior Living is hiring a Driver to provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and events. You will assist disabled passengers, secure wheelchairs, and communicate with the base station to ensure safe, reliable service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, being 21+ years old, and a valid CDL may be required depending on regulations. Prior customer service experience and safety awareness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and events.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize during trips.
• Safely operate radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per-trip basis.
