MorningStar Senior Living in Colorado Springs is seeking a Part-Time Driver/Activities Assistant to transport residents and support daily Life Enrichment programs. Schedule includes Driver shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Activities shifts on Saturdays; pay range $18.50–$19.50 per hour.

The role is non-exempt with a focus on safe vehicle operation, resident care, and coordination with the Life Enrichment team. Benefits apply for eligible team members.”

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months driving experience with senior adults preferred.
• Must possess a valid State driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English; strong customer service skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Drive residents to and from scheduled destinations.
• Ensure safe and effective operation of Community transportation vehicles.
• Monitor residents’ well-being and report changes to supervisor.
• Assist in coordinating activities with other departments and communicate programs to residents and families.
• Organize activity supplies and equipment for life enrichment activities.
• Prepare monthly progress reports on activity programs as directed.
• Assist residents to and from activities and document mileage with gas expenses.
