Job summary

LCB Senior Living’s The Residence at Bedford is hiring part-time cooks to join a team dedicated to high-quality dining for residents. You will assist with meal prep, follow recipes, and ensure safety and cleanliness in a supportive environment.

Preferred 1-3 years as a cook in hospitality or healthcare, Serve Safe certification, and ability to read production guides. Wage is $23–$27 per hour with benefits from Day One.

Qualifications

• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, staff, and families.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to handle priorities.
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service in a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Assist Culinary Director with supervision of culinary staff.
• Prepare and execute dining enhancement programs and menus.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food storage to safety standards.
• Open and/or close the kitchen and manage cleaning schedules.
• Assist with events, banquets, and theme meals.
