Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent with prior cooking experience preferred, ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions, and a capacity to lift up to 50 pounds. Starting pay is USD 21.00 per hour with benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• May require sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities
