Job summary

Bethesda Senior Living Communities seeks a part-time Chef/Cook in Fort Collins, CO to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a fast-paced kitchen. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required. Salary range $19.00-$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include cooking per recipes, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining sanitary conditions while ensuring meals meet residents' dietary needs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Culinary training is preferred.
• Health certification as required by local/state/federal health departments.
• Reading and following recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cooks meals according to established recipes and menus.
• Assists in creating menus meeting residents' nutritional needs and preferences.
• Presents meals that are visually appealing.
• Preps and sets up kitchen according to each day’s menu.
• Cleans and maintains sanitary kitchen and storeroom.
• Maintains proper temperatures of equipment and food.
• Ensures coverage for meal service and dining room prep.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
