Job summary

The Aspenwood Company is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants for Heartis Mid Cities, a senior community with memory care. You will support residents with daily activities, meals, and social engagement, while maintaining safety and dignity.

We value compassion, reliability, and clear communication. Roles require weekend/holiday availability and a friendly, professional appearance in line with our policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining, encouraging independence.
• Serve meals and assist in meal preparation, promoting proper nutrition and hydration.
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities, encouraging socialization and friendships.
• Maintain accurate records of leisure activities, incidents, observations, and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Keep a clean, safe, and orderly environment and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Follow procedures in emergencies and respond quickly to resident requests and call pendants.
• Know residents’ locations, remind signing out, and report if a resident cannot be located.
• Foster a cooperative team environment and participate in required trainings.
• Be an active member of the community emergency response team.
