Job summary

Heartis Mid Cities, part of The Aspenwood Company, seeks compassionate Resident Assistants to support seniors in a warm, homelike community. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, and social activities, document observations, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with a friendly care team.

Weekend and holiday availability required; shifts 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year of resident care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving and good judgment.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, promoting independence.
• Help with meals and nutrition support.
• Encourage social interaction and leisure activities.
• Document leisure activities, incidents, and changes in condition.
• Maintain clean, safe living areas and report safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and emergencies.
• Track sign-out procedures and locate residents when needed.
• Collaborate with team members to support residents.
• Attend required in-service trainings.
• Be active in the community emergency response team.
