Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Specialist to join our team in Georgia. You will assist residents with activities and simple treatments as outlined in service plans, while supporting their dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with emotional health, reporting issues to supervisors, and participating in onboarding and ongoing training. You will also support laundry and pet care tasks and follow all company policies under the Wellness Director.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health-related requirements.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and/or problem behaviors.
• Perform other services for residents (e.g., laundry and pet care).
• Observe and report resident problems to supervisor.
• Participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.
