Job summary

Hcshiring is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents at our Virginia facility. The role reports to Wellness Director and Wellness Manager and provides daily living assistance per Resident Service Plan.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and feeding; maintaining health logs; coordinating with staff for emergencies; and supporting orientation and in-service activities. Physical stamina and patience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors and empathy-based approach.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Physically able to assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work under demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, mobility).
• Report health changes to Wellness Director/Manager.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and assist with orders.
• Support shift coverage and orientation of new Wellness Associates.
• Respond to emergencies with first-aid and arrange follow-up.
