Job summary

Hcshiring is seeking a Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities under the supervision of the Wellness Director and Wellness Manager. You will help with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and meal service according to each Resident Service Plan.

The role includes monitoring health, reporting changes, maintaining supplies, assisting with scheduling, and supporting orientation of new Wellness Associates.

Qualifications

• Current State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but NOT REQUIRED.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Able to maintain positive relationships with Residents and staff.
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, eating.
• Maintain awareness of residents' health and report changes to Wellness Director.
• Keep inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first-aid.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units and assist with laundry.
• Maintain records and files; support in-service education.
• May work weekends/holidays or extended hours as assigned.
