Discovery Senior Living in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to enrich the lives of residents. In this role you provide hands-on support with daily living activities, help residents maintain independence, and contribute to a warm, home-like environment.

You will work with residents and teammates to deliver respectful, dignified care, respond to call bells promptly, assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility, and participate in enrichment activities.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, team members, and leadership.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks.
• Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs.
• Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
