Waltonwood is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support residents in daily living activities and emotional well-being. You will assist with ADLs, safety, and engage residents in social activities within a caring team environment.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, documenting care notes, and coordinating with wellness staff to ensure resident independence and dignity are maintained. This role requires compassion, reliability, and excellent communication.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• In North Carolina, CNA is required.
• Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred.
• Previous experience with elderly or memory-impaired adults is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as waking, toileting, feeding, safety, and bathing.
• Respond to the resident emergency call system promptly.
• Provide assistance during meals, activities, or wherever necessary.
• Offer emotional support with respect, dignity, and a cheerful demeanor.
• Promote safety and wellbeing using procedures and safety equipment.
• Assist with janitorial and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Participate in shift change meetings to relay resident status.
• Report behavioral or medical changes to leadership.
• Follow directions from supervisors regarding care and needs.
• Communicate with outside agencies and community partners.
• Complete required documentation (resident care summary, 24 hour report, shower logs).
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
