Waltonwood is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, and social engagement. You will respond to emergency calls, document care, and support a safe, dignified living environment within a team-focused community.

Strong communication, patience, and reliability are essential as you help residents maintain independence and quality of life in a welcoming setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• In North Carolina, CNA is required.
• Previous caregiver experience is preferred.
• Experience with elderly or memory-impaired adults is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as waking, toileting, feeding, safety, bathing.
• Respond to emergency call system promptly.
• Provide assistance during mealtimes, activities, or wherever necessary.
• Offer emotional support with respect, dignity, and a cheerful demeanor.
• Promote safety through procedures and equipment; be aware of potential dangers.
• Assist with janitorial and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Participate in shift change meetings to inform others of resident status and needs.
• Report changes in behavior or medical conditions to leadership.
• Follow directions from supervisors for care and emergencies.
• Communicate with external agencies and hospice or home health partners.
• Complete required documentation (care summaries, logs, etc.).
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Wellness Coordinator.
