Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Alexandria, VA is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting independence, privacy, and dignity in a team setting.

You will support residents with daily tasks, engage in life enrichment activities, and communicate openly with healthcare professionals, families, and staff. Requires 12+ months of caregiving experience, strong communication, and willingness to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience with memory care is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring).
• Prioritize independence and emotional support through compassionate care and engagement.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and room upkeep.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents and staff.
