Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Valid chauffeur's license required.
• Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact with employees/vendors/contractors and clients/participants.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., work from heights; climb ladders frequently kneel bend and twist.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from the Adult Day Services Program.
• Assist passengers with disabilities, loading/unloading wheelchairs and securing restraints.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and report issues as needed.
• Occasionally perform building maintenance and maintain cooperative work relationships.
• Work with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment in emergencies.
