Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support our residents in a warm, home-like environment in Milan, TN. This PRN role focuses on daily living activities and emotional well-being, with a dedicated team committed to resident-centered care.

You’ll work with caregivers and nursing staff to ensure safety, dignity, and comfort, while contributing to a supportive, family-like culture. CPR/BLS is a plus, and the position offers flexibility in shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe changes in condition.
• Document resident care and changes as required.
• Communicate with nursing staff and caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities promoting physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
