Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Paris, TN is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ daily living in a warm, home-like environment. In this part-time role, you’ll assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and other ADLs while ensuring safety, dignity, and meaningful connections with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
