Job summary

Good Samaritan in Blackduck, MN is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents using the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care within state practice standards.

The position requires a nationally accredited nursing program background, an unencumbered RN license, and the ability to obtain necessary competencies and certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA considered.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing; multistate license acceptable in NLC states.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education and care with the care team.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel within scope and competence.
