Qualifications

• Active RN license in applicable states with BLS certification.
• Proficiency in clinical skills, documentation, and effective communication.
• Ability to adapt to changing demands, work collaboratively, and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and patient-centered care standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments (admission, transfer, postoperative, discharge).
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, tests and protocols.
• Administer medications, monitor IVs, and coordinate referrals and consultations.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and involve families in care decisions.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions, implement nursing actions, and document care and responses.
• Offer specialized care such as restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and compliance with policies; maintain licensure and certifications.
• Deliver excellent service, effective communication, teamwork, and respect for patient dignity and privacy.
• Engage in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and professional development.
