Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center is actively hiring an RN or LPN to join Gray Birch in Augusta. This part-time role offers a 36-hour work week, day shifts from 7am to 7pm, and a $25,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses.

You will provide resident-centered care, educate families, develop care plans, and collaborate with the care team in a supportive long-term care environment. Open to all experience levels; Maine licensure required or prompt eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active State of Maine RN or LPN license (or ability to obtain promptly).
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work with residents and families in a supportive long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate patient care to residents in a long-term care setting.
• Develop, implement and evaluate care plans based on assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for transfers, discharges, referrals and psychosocial support.
• Delegate tasks to ancillary personnel as needed.
