Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. A current RN license and nursing degree are required, with BLS and other certifications as needed per unit.

Applicants will demonstrate professional accountability, teamwork, and adherence to Mercy Service Standards in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Basic Life Support certification required; additional certifications may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
