Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, effective, patient-centered care using the nursing process for assigned patients. The role requires professional accountability and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include evaluating care, upholding patient rights and confidentiality, and adhering to Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards. A nursing degree and active RN license are required, with BLS and other unit-specific certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire; other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, effective, patient-centered care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Upholds patient rights, maintains confidentiality, and aligns duties with Mercy’s mission, values and service standards.
